Noticed the basket at the bottom of your game screen? That’s the landing pad for all the Hatchlings eggs you’ll find. This basket has been enhanced and improved for Hatchlings NEXT, so read on to learn how to use it!
All your eggs in one basket
As you hunt in Normal Hunting Mode, eggs will collect in your basket. After you’ve collected them all, you can click on an egg card to gift the egg, send the egg to your network, or store the egg (Premium only).
When you click the Hunt button at the bottom center of the screen, it will clear the eggs from your basket and spawn more eggs to collect.
Eggs retrieved from your vault will also drop into your basket, and you can interact with them the same way you would with hunted eggs.
In Hatchlings NEXT, the egg basket is persistent. This means that you have greater control over the eggs that enter and leave your basket.
In this version of the game, the eggs in your basket will remain there even if you refresh the page or travel from one location to another.
Ready to empty the basket? Click the X at the left side of the basket at any time. You can choose to clear out all eggs, or only the eggs you’ve used (e.g. eggs you’ve gifted or sent to storage).
Basket in Power Mode
If you’re hunting in Power Mode, your basket can do a lot more than just hold eggs!
After you’ve finished a round of Power Mode, your basket report will pop up, displaying the list of eggs you’ve found. The eggs will be sorted with the most rare eggs at the top, and the most common at the bottom of the list.
Click the Share Your Find button to pull up the egg card, from which you can gift, store, or send the egg to your network. From this view you can also see the egg pet, and other eggs in that same series.
If you’re Premium, you can click Store Egg next to any egg in the list to send it right to your storage. The red numbered circle next to an egg will tell you how many of that egg you already have stored.
Click the New Eggs tab to view any eggs you’ve found for the first time, or click the Challenge Eggs tab to view eggs that counted toward your open challenge(s).
When you’re ready to clear your basket and start a new round of Power Mode, click the Hunt Again button.
If you want to get out of Power Mode, but don’t want to clear your eggs, then click Exit Power Mode. This will take you back to the normal basket. Click the egg count next to the X at the left side to open your basket report outside of Power Mode.
When you’re in a travel location, the basket will function similarly to the Power Mode basket. Each travel location has its own take on the basket concept (e.g. the Bucket in Sunny Side Cay, or the Cauldron in the Haunted House).
Check out the Travel section of our support center, and read about your current travel location to learn more about its particular basket.
