Christmas in July? Easter in July? Nope! It's time for CHREASTER in July.
Travel between Sunny Side Cay, North Pole, and New Yolk to collect eggs for Sheldon and trade them for Sea Stars and Coal.
Use your local currency to purchase decorations for your Chreaster present patch -- and keep an eye out for other goodies, too!

Complete daily trades!

Every day, there will be new trades in all three locations (Sunny Side Cay, North Pole, and New Yolk). These trades all last at least 24 hours, but they start at different times in each travel location.
Complete just the trades in your location of choice, or travel around and complete them all. If you want to travel all month without worrying about travel tickets, consider grabbing a Chreaster in July travel pass during the first week of the month!
How do you complete trades?
There are a few options, including a couple that are only available for Premium members:
1. From the basket report. When you find an egg Sheldon wants, a special icon appears in the basket report, next to the requested egg. Clicking on it lets you send an egg directly to Sheldon.
2. From the Sheldon button in the Collection section of your profile. If you're a Premium member, you might already have stored the eggs Sheldon wants. This makes it easy to send them to Sheldon all at once through the "Sheldon" tab of your profile. The trades for all locations will appear in your "Sheldon" tab, but to complete the trade, you have to go to that location or click on the special currency (Coal or Sea Stars) in the display at the top of the screen.
3. Using the "Send to Friend" button. If you aren't sending from the basket report, there's no need to send a friend request to Sheldon – whenever he wants an egg, he'll automatically appear at the top of your friends list, so you can send eggs the same way you would to any friend. If you've already completed all the day's trades, you will no longer see him there. Click here to learn about gifting eggs.
Once Sheldon receives the requested egg(s), click the event icon and find the green Redeem button (s) to claim your reward!
How do I get Sea Stars or Coal?
Find Sea Stars hunting in Sunny Side Cay, and find Coal hunting in the North Pole. Coal and Sea Stars can be found in the volcano. Doing challenges in either world will earn you Sea Stars or Coal, as well. You'll also be able to buy event currency in a special market.

Treasure Chests are presents you can buy for yourself or friends in the game. When you send your friend a treasure chest, it will show up in the Chreaster Present Patch on their profile, and they can see who it’s from. |
Treasure Chest contents are a surprise! Each size has an assortment of random items. Every gift that you give will be at least (and in most cases, much more) valuable than what you paid for them.
Two exciting new things are in many 2024 Treasure Chests: Storage Eggspress and Hunting Watch List. Jumbo presents award them a week at a time, and large presents award 24 hours. Read more about these new features here.
How can I access my presents and decorations?
Open your Present Patch! In addition to seeing how many presents you have and who sent them, you can also change backgrounds, add and rearrange decorations, and use the “Send a Present” button to send your friends a Treasure Chest or message in a bottle.
2024 Chreaster Event Series and Badge
This Chreaster in July, you can find the Thaw event series in the Sunny Side Cay volcano, AND in the New Yolk Chreaster tradepost. Like the event's theme of crossing seasons, it shows the contrast between summer and winter as things warm up:
We also made a special Chreaster badge egg (in the Donor Perk 2 series) to make up for not having one this Easter. We think of it as the Chr/Easter Faberge badge. Find it in Jumbo Chreaster Treasure Chests (presents) and some Large Treasure Chests.
