Camping Event Series
You can find these eggs in New Yolk, build them in the Camp-O-Matic, and win them as rewards for completing challenges.
Camper Coins Event Currency
Don't take any wooden nickels!
Earn Camper Coins in challenges, hunting, and in Sheldon's event tradepost. You can also build them in the Camp-O-Matic -- it just takes a log and a hammer for the machine to build one! Use Camper Coins to collect Camper Badge decorations and earn a special event badge. |
Camp-O-Matic Machine
(Read more about machines here.)
Make a machine, then use huntable "ingredients" to make decorations, eggs, or coins.
To build this fantastical new contraption, click on the gear at the top left of your screen, above tradepost and other event icons. That opens the machines user interface. Your first option is event-specific, the Camp-O-Matic (the Meggatizer and Vac-Stack 3000 are available at other times). |
You’ll see when you go to build machines that there are four “slots” – like parking stalls in a garage. Everyone can access the first slot, and Premium members get another two. If you want a fourth machine up and running concurrently, 500 shells will open up an extra slot. |
Click on a slot to build a machine there, then use the arrows to scroll through your options.
This is also where you can review what machine parts are in your inventory.
To build a Camp-O-Matic, you'll need a lever, a fizzy lifter, and a cranker, all of which are huntable.
The Camp-O-Matic can make camp gear decorations, Camper Coins, and Camping series eggs.
Ingredients and Recipes
Huntable camping "ingredients" include rope, a log, cloth, a hammer, duct tape, and paint. You may find them as challenge rewards, too! Use these in the Camp-O-Matic to make camping gear decorations, Camper Coins, and Camping event eggs. |
Once you've built a machine, click on it to see your ingredients and what recipes you can make.
Choose what type of item you want to make, confirm you have the right materials, then click on the red Make this! button. The Camp-O-Matic will build you a random item from that category. So, even though you see a tent for that recipe, you may not get one as a decoration, and the egg pictured is Campfire, but you will receive a random event egg.
When your "recipe" is done, you must collect it for the product to go to your attic, vault, or inventory. |
Decorations
The Camp-O-Matic will make a random decoration each time. Here are some of the options:
You can also earn cool Camper Badge decorations in Sheldon's Camper Coin Challenge tradepost!
When completed, decorations appear in your decoration station's attic, accessible from your profile.
Sheldon's Camper Coin Challenge Tradepost
|
Every 24 hours, Sheldon will ask for any egg from the Camping series. Turn in what you have to get Camper Coins and buy badges you can use to decorate your Camping Grounds. You can also find eggs, coins, and more in challenges and machines. Campers who earn all nine badges get a special rainbow reward badge. |
Every day, Sheldon will trade you Camper Coins for any egg from the Camping event series. You can send one of each requested egg per day. These trades will unlock Camper Badge decorations. Start with white and work your way up. Earn all nine for a very special event merit badge -- rainbow, silver, and/or bronze, depending on when you get there.
Send Sheldon eggs as you would normally send them to a friend: from your basket, from the Sheldon tab in your profile, or from your basket report.
- From your basket:

- From Basket Report:
...then go to the tradepost to redeem for coins:
After you click Continue, your Camper Coins total will increase.

I sent Sheldon an egg -- where are my Camper Coins?
You have to go to the Camper Coin tradepost to redeem the "trades" after you send the eggs.
If there's a gray button that says 0 of 1, that's when you should go ahead and send the egg.
Once Sheldon has received the egg, that button should turn green and say Redeem.
Once you click Redeem and get the Camper Coins, it should turn gray again and say Good Work.
There will be a "Trade resets in..." countdown for all of them, because you can send one of each type of egg per day, so it's showing you when that is. (The 24 hours is based on when the event started, not when you sent a trade.)
Why isn't Sheldon accepting my egg?
The event is structured for you to send in one of each type of egg per day. The first few days of the event, Sheldon didn't stop you from sending duplicates, and he counted them toward the next day's trade. He got overwhelmed with duplicates, though, and now only wants to accept eggs for one day at a time. If you've already sent in extras, you won't lose them (they will still count for the coming days), but Sheldon doesn't want more duplicates for future days. Thanks for understanding.
How many Camper Coins does it take for each badge?
White: 9 Yellow: 18 Orange: 45 |
Green: 90 Blue: 180 Purple: 360 |
Red: 720 Brown: 1440 Black: 2880 |
Rainbow event badge: 1 Camper Coin (after you get all the other badges)

What's this about destroying my machine?
You get three uses out of a machine before you need to clear the slot and start over. Using the Destroy button lets you get the old machine out of the way to make space for a new one. You can also destroy it before using it three times if you don't want it anymore (but you'll have to find the parts to build a new one if you change your mind).
Does the Camp-O-Matic take the same parts as the Bot Baked machines?
It is built with the same parts, but the rarities are new for this event. No wire wars this month!
What are the non-camp machines?
The other two machines are not necessary to complete the event, but they perform some frequently-requested functions, using items you already have.
Key Meggatizer
You’ll need a cog, a lever, and a fizzy lifter to Meggatize your keys. This machine uses five of your Challenge Keys to produce a Megga Key. |
Vac-Stack 3000
If you want to stack those vacs, you’ll need a fizzy lifter, a lever, and a cranker. This converts three of your vacuum vouchers into 30 minutes of Dustbunny— |
Why is my machine idle?
Idle just means your machine is ready to make its next item, if you have the right ingredients!
(Read more about machines here.)
Why isn't something happening when I click Make this (or Build this)?
To make a recipe, you need to have it selected AND you need to have all of the ingredients. The button color indicates whether you can make a recipe. The same applies for building machines: you need all the parts. |
(Read more about machine statuses here.)
Where are my machine parts? Why aren't they with my ingredients?
Check out the pictures in Ingredients and Recipes. Machine parts show when you are selecting which machine to build, so after you click on an empty slot and before you see your recipe ingredients.

What's the update about the badges?
Here's what we posted in the Message Center in early July:
Updates:
First, the Camper Coin tradepost event is now through the end of August.
Soon, we'll be adding more options for Donor Perk 2 special camper merit badges:
- The original Rainbow Badge will be available through July 11
- A new Silver Badge will be be available July 12–August 8
- A new Bronze Badge will be be available August 9–31
Why switch up the badges?
- Players requested different colors/levels of the final badge, to let the early finishers have a little distinction without depriving the later finishers.
- New badges will let Rainbow Badge earners take another lap, like the Rainbow Route in Challenge MAYnia.
- Players who didn’t earn the Rainbow Badge still earn a special event badge (or two!).
How will the trades work? and other questions:
- The FIRST special Donor Perk camper badge you get (Rainbow, Silver, or Bronze) AFTER you get your black badge decoration costs **1 Camper Coin**. If you’re close now, and you get to it before July 12, you can get that Rainbow Badge for 1 Camper Coin. If you don’t get the Rainbow Badge in time, you will be able to get a Silver Badge for 1 Camper Coin, and if you don’t get the Silver, you can still get the Bronze for 1 Camper Coin.
- If you already have a Rainbow Badge, you can “repeat” the challenge and trade in 5000 Camper Coins for the next special badge (Silver or Bronze, depending on timing).
