Gameplay
Easter Island hosts a real-time, multiplayer Easter egg hunt. Compete (or cooperate) with other players to collect eggs. Other players will be marked by cursors featuring their profile pictures, so you can see who you’re playing with.
Eggs at Easter Island appear wrapped in different colors of foil based on the rarity of the eggs. Click on the foil egg repeatedly to unwrap the foil and reveal the egg inside. To collect an egg, keep clicking until the egg is fully unwrapped. If multiple people are clicking the same egg only one person will receive the egg.! Rare eggs will take longer to unwrap than common ones.
Too much (or not enough) competition? Move around Easter Island using the navigation arrows in the top right corner of the game, or click the location ID (eg: A1, A2, A3, etc.) in the center of the navigational arrows to bring up a map. Click on a section of the map to travel to that location where new eggs and new players await! The number of sections available varies depending on how many players are currently hunting, but there’s no limit on how many players can hunt in one section.
You can also use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move from section to section. Users playing on touch screen devices may swipe the screen to switch sections as well.
Your Collection
When you collect an egg, it’ll drop into your basket.
The flag in your basket will show you how many eggs you’ve collected. At any time, you can click the flag to view, share, and store your collected eggs. Your Easter Basket can hold 100 eggs, and once it’s full, the flag will display the word FULL in red text. You can continue to hunt, but your oldest finds will be pushed out of the basket by mischievous bunnies. If you know you’ve collected an egg you don’t want to lose, be sure to click the flag to view your basket report and interact with your eggs!
Series
At Easter Island, you’ll be able to hunt for seasonal egg series that you can’t find in New Yolk. New Easter Island series will be released throughout the month as well. Use a key while you are in Easter Island to unlock these new series.
Easter Island and New Yolk each have a different mix of series, and your open series markers at the bottom of your screen will only show you series available in the location you are currently hunting in. While you can only hunt for the collections in your current location, stored eggs (network and premium) are available across both destinations.
Challenges
Want to add another goal to your hunt? Start a challenge at Easter Island by clicking the Challenge Key. Challenges can be opened in either Easter Island or Upstate New Yolk, but will only contain eggs from series available in the location where the challenge was started.
Special Surprises
Some eggs in Easter Island may contain an extra surprise: a decoration for your Present Patch. You won’t be able to tell which eggs contain decorations until you collect them, so if you’re hunting for decorations, you won’t want to leave any partially unwrapped eggs behind! If you find a decoration while hunting, you’ll get a pop-up alert to let you know. You can view and trade in your decorations in your Present Patch on your profile.

Party Time
The rulers of Easter Island are a fun-loving bunch, and will sometimes host parties in Easter Island. During a party, there can be games, different hunting modes and lots of prizes! If you want to get in on the fun, follow our Facebook page and keep an eye out for event announcements.
Easter Island parties are typically hosted by Queen Bonbon. During the party, she'll post instructions in Easter Island chat. These instructions will be highlighted in pink. Be sure to keep an eye on chat to know what games are being played, and how to participate!
What games are played at an Easter Island party? While each party is different, many games or activities make regular appearances at these events. Here are some examples:
- Queen Bonnie's Champion: Bonbon will select a champion, usually the Black Bunny. Steal eggs from the champion to prevent them from filling their basket in the five-minute time limit. If the champion can't fill their basket, then Bonbon will drop an Uber-Rare egg in every room on the map.
- Hunt and Seek: During this game, Bonbon will expand the Easter Island map with hundreds of rooms, and will start dropping Ubers in random rooms as fast as she can. Explore the map to find Ubers, or find your own private room in which to hunker down and hunt! Hint: You have a better chance of finding Ubers during this game if you move around the map!
- Eggsplosions: Bonnie will drop hundreds of eggs at once in section A1 of the map, including a few Ubers. NOTE: Eggsplosions can cause significant lag or freezing for players with older devices or slower connections. Avoid A1 during parties if you experience these problems. But don't worry! If you can't participate in the Eggsplosions, Ubers and other surprises will still be dropping in others parts of the map.
- Special Hunting Modes: During parties, Bonbon may turn on different hunting modes, such as 1-click (only one click required to unwrap an egg), 3-click, mixed foils (egg foil colors are assigned randomly, and not by rarity), or gold foils (all eggs are in gold, sparkly foils).
Parties are a great chance to win Ubers and decorations, and have some extra fun in Easter Island! Keep an eye out on our Facebook page for announcements about scheduled parties.
