Everything is getting greener, the seasons are changing, and Shelby wants to celebrate. What better way than by making a little music?
This month we'll me finding musical instruments and making records.
Harmoniachord
We are finding parts to build the Harmoniachord machine. This machine turns your instruments into records.
To build this hard-working contraption, click on the gear at the top left of your screen. That opens the machines user interface, where you can build egg machines and review what's in your inventory.
About machine slots: You’ll see when you go to build machines that there are four “slots” by default – like parking stalls in a garage. Everyone can access the first slot, and Premium members get another 2, for a total of 3. The last one displays as Locked, to indicate you can buy more slots for 500 shells, up to a maximum of 6.
Click on a slot to build a machine there, then click Select for the Harmoniachord machine. To build it, you'll need the following parts: 5 cogs, 2 wires, 2 wheels, and 2 crankers.
Like all Egg Machines, you can use the Harmoniachord three times before it needs to be rebuilt.
How do I get parts to build the machine?
Machine parts are awarded for New Yolk challenges, and in some tradepost trades.
How do I get the instruments?
Most of the instruments can be found while hunting in New Yolk.
However, the Harp can only be found in challenges, or as a trade in the tradepost. Harps are huge. You really wouldn't want them falling out of the sky now, would you?
Each Record requires 1 Harp, 3 Bassoons, 3 French Horns, 3 Oboes, and 3 Trumpets.
Shelby's Ode to Spring Tradepost
Here you will find daily egg trades for Harps and machine parts.
So what do I do with all these records I'm making?
You take them to the record store, of course.
Check out the offerings at the Record Store. Here you will trade in the records you've made for items of your choosing. (This is a purchase. Records will be deducted from your total.)
The Ode to Spring event badge is for sale in the Record Store. Don't forget to check it out!
This event runs from March 2 at 10:00am CST through April 1 at 10:00am CDT.
