Santa Sheldon is back this year with treats aplenty! Travel is now open to North Pole, where coal is huntable and awarded for challenges.

Santa Sheldon's Advent Tradepost

There is an Advent calendar tradepost in North Pole. Find the tradepost by clicking on Santa Sheldon in North Pole or the coal icon in either location.

There are multiple trades each day, including some exclusively for Premium members. All trades change every day at 10:00am CST.

Santa's Workshop Event Collection

This month brings another special event series. This collection is called Santa's Workshop. It's inspired by things you may have asked Santa for yourself. You'll find one every few days in the Advent tradepost, or if you're very lucky, you might catch one falling in North Pole. Here's what to look for:

You'll have to wait and find out on Christmas! But we can say that there are new ubers and new badges, as well as hard-to-find event eggs, plus of course Loaded Challenge Keys, DustBunny time, and lots of other goodies.

Motes of Seasonal Magic

This year from December 26th at 10:00am CST to January 2nd at 10:00am CST we’re going to celebrate the magic of the season.

While hunting in New Yolk and North Pole you’ll have a chance to collect magical motes. You can also collect magical motes by completing challenges in either location.

Once you find 500 motes you can use them to purchase a spin of the magical motes wheel. What might I win from that magical motes wheel? SO MUCH STUFF! You have a chance to find a Santa’s Workshop event egg, 2 days of Dustbunny, Hunting Watch List, Storage Eggspress, Challenge Keys, there’s even a chance to win the new red Scientifically Uber “The Designer.” The more motes you find the more chances you have to spin the wheel!

I need more detail about Magic Motes and what they do.

Magic Motes appear in both New Yolk and North Pole. Save them up for some seasonal surprises.

Why are there two icons? One is your balance, and one lets you spend what you've saved.

At the top of your screen in the "HUD" (heads-up display), you'll find your score and the balances of shells, Carrot Coins, Magic Motes, and Coal.

That's how you can see how many Magic Motes you've found.

To spend Magic Motes, click on the black-and-blue icon at the left of your screen.

What can I buy with Magic Motes?

You can purchase a "prize wheel spin"—a random prize you can send to a friend or keep for yourself. When you click "Buy Now," you'll be taken to a screen where you select a recipient.

Next, you can add a gift message (or not), then review the details before finalizing the purchase. If you're buying for yourself, you can also choose the quantity. When everything looks good, click "Buy With Magic Motes" to spend the 500 Magic Motes and see a confirmation dialog.

Now, whoever you selected as a recipient (maybe yourself, maybe a friend) will see a notification appear on their Inbox—the icon above the Message Center mailbox. When they (or you) click "Claim," there will be a starburst and a window announcing the prize. That information is also in the Log.

As noted in the market, timed items (e.g., vacuum, Hunting Watch List, Storage Eggspress) start right away, so get hopping!
