March 2025 - Poseidon
Egglantis
In keeping with our theme of mythological characters, we'll be pursuing Poseidon's favor this month, which of course happens underwater. Travel to Egglantis will be open through the end of March.
Egglantis now has a "dark mode," called the Midnight Zone, which you can access by collecting enough Dive Tokens to fill your Oxygen Tank. Read more about it here. Remember that every 24 hours, Premium members can find a free Dive Token in the Dive Token Emporium by clicking on the Oxygen Meter. |
Event-Exclusive Collection
You can find these legendary Poseidon eggs in the Midnight Zone and in the event tradepost.
Eggs moving to Egglantis
The following series are moving from New Yolk to Egglantis:

Event-Exclusive Greek Goddess Collection
In the Sunny Side Cay Volcano, you'll find a series dedicated to Aphrodite. If you don't fancy braving the volcano, or if you miss Egg Machine events, you can also make these eggs — keep reading for information & instructions (or skip to the cookbook).
Remember: You'll need to open the series before you find any in the volcano.
Remixed Valentine's Machines
What are the machines, and what do I do with them?
We gave some TLC to the baking machines we used in previous events (the Batch Maker Bash and our Sweet Sixteen celebration), and now we unveil the Mix-o-Matic 2.0, the BakencookXOXO, and the Baker Bunny.
Why use them?
To make the Aphrodite eggs instead of or in addition to finding them in the volcano.
How do I use the new machines?
The general instructions are the same as for other machines:
- Collect parts to build the machines
- Collect ingredients to use in recipes
- Make recipes
- Make more recipes
- Use those recipes to make the Aphrodite eggs
Keep reading for more on all these steps, or skip to the detailed cookbook.

...And if you're a glutton for spreadsheet punishment, here you go:
(Re-)Introducing: The Recyclomizer
Ready to "upcycle" your old machine parts?
If you have plenty of the original "vintage" machine parts from 2023 and want to use them in 2025, you might like the Recyclomizer! It uses your old parts to make new ones!
Build the Recyclomizer by clicking on the same gear icon as usual, then clock on an empty machine slot. You should see 6 options, with the last one being the Recyclomizer:
When you select the machine, it'll show you what's needed to build it. In this case, that's a Cog, a Cranker, a Fizzy Lifter, a Lever, and a Wire. Before you build it, though, you probably want to know what recipes it can make. Here's the list:
What if you have thousands of Cogs but you're out of Crankers?!
You can get some spare old parts on clearance from the Machine Shed! Look for the orange wrench next to the sidebar.
January 2025 - Hercules
We're kicking off the new year with a story so old it's ancient history (ok, it's mythology, but still). To earn immortality and join his father Zeus on Mount Olympus, demigod Hercules was instructed to complete 12 seemingly impossible feats that became known as the Labors of Hercules. Follow in his footsteps as you progress through 12 stops on your path to the summit of Mount Egglympus!
|
Look for this tradepost icon to find missions & feats to accomplish. Instead of impossible tasks from King Eurystheus, you'll be getting achievable assignments from Sheldon. Send him the eggs he asks for, and you'll be awarded Obols to help you complete the event. |
What are Obols?Once upon a time, they were ancient Greek coins & weight measures. |
![]() |
How do we get Obols?
1. Hunting in New Yolk
2. Challenge rewards
3. Tradepost prizes for completing feats (aka sending requested eggs to Sheldon)
What do we do with Obols?Mostly just collect them to pay for your passage to the summit of Mount Egglympus. The trades for Obols will be "milestones" and will NOT deduct currency from your account. How do we "climb" this imaginary mountain? As you complete trades and collect Obols, you'll see the path revealed before you. There are two trades per day, available at different times. One gives you Obols for sending eggs, and one rewards you for collecting Obols. |
The trades for Obols will be "milestones," and will NOT deduct currency from your account.
What's this about the Labors of Hercules?
It's the Exclusive series this month! You can find it hunting with a diamond key in New Yolk, AND you can get the full dozen from the tradepost.
Event-Exclusive Badge
Near the end of the event, if you've collected enough Obols to summit Mt. Egglympus, you'll be able to collect this beautiful badge from the Donor Perks 2 series. It will be a tradepost trade. |
Mt. Egglympus Frequently Asked Questions
What do we get if we summit the mountain?
A badge! See above.
What's this about a bonus background?
Certain high achievers will find enough Obols to earn entry into Zeus's palace high atop Mount Egglympus, and they'll see the majestic Cloud Castle background. There is not a path to follow.
I can't see any dots! What's going on?
We created an illustration of a path up scenic Mount Egglympus. It's like the Hatchlings version of one of these illustrations:
As you collect Obols, more of the path is revealed, with colored dots representing stops along the way. The path and dots are just there to add interest and mark progress -- you don't have to interact with them, so don't worry if they're hidden behind your basket, or you prefer to hunt with no background.
Is the start flag supposed to be behind the basket/icon/challenge tray?
Well, no, but everyone's screen crops the background differently based on device size, orientation, window zoom, etc. You don't need to click on anything in the background, so don't worry.
My device won't show me the whole background, so I can't tell what's going on with the path -- how do I keep going?
The path is just a cute illustration. If you are keeping up with the tradepost trades, you won't miss out on anything. Below is an in-progress example of what the scenic background and path illustration look like full-height, though. This player is not quite halfway to the final summit.
